Hana Inuzuka

Softer-featured than the rest of her family, Hana lacks the slit pupils and wild manes typical of the Inuzuka, instead framing her large dark eyes with two loose strands and gathering her brown hair into a ponytail. The clan's fang markings sit on both cheeks, and a flower-shaped tattoo, a nod to one meaning of her name, decorates her upper right arm. On hospital duty she dons the beige Konoha medic outfit, while in the field she switches to a snug, pocketless flak jacket left unzipped at the front, paired with cropped shorts, wrist-warmers and bandages.

A brace guards her left wrist and bracelets ring her right hand, and she finishes the look with a light touch of lipstick. During the Fourth Shinobi World War she wore the uniform and headband of the Allied Shinobi Forces. As a child she dressed in light-brown clothes trimmed with white fur and tied off with a grey waist sash.

Compared with her more feral relatives, Hana carries a calmer, more even temperament, though the clan's wild streak still surfaces when her village needs defending. She dotes on both Kiba and her dogs, and the years she spent minding her younger brother while their mother took missions left the siblings tightly bonded. That closeness does not spare Kiba her sharp tongue, and she once branded him a coward for faltering when Akamaru fell ill.

Her mind is keenest in matters of medicine, especially veterinary care, yet domestic skills escape her. Naruto discovered as much when her repair of his bitten trousers came out resembling stitched-up surgery rather than tidy sewing.

Hana fights in concert with the Three Haimaru Brothers and commands the foundational Four Legs Technique that underpins every Inuzuka assault. During the Fourth Shinobi World War she and her hounds tore into the White Zetsu clones with the Fang Rotating Fang, a spinning, shredding variant of her clan's drilling attacks, joining her brother against the underground army unearthed by Kitsuchi's forces. Her heightened sense of smell also makes her a capable tracker, once tasked with hunting down an ailing Akamaru to deliver his medicine.

Beyond combat, Hana is an accomplished medical-nin whose specialty is animal care. The precise chakra control the field demands lets her nurse Akamaru back to health after his brutal clash with Sakon and Ukon, and later administer a risky, even-odds cure that pulls him back from a disease turning him feral by night.
