Hibachi

Hibachi keeps his light brown hair cropped short, and his eyes are a dull, stone-like grey.

As a boy Hibachi ran with a small pack of classmates and took pleasure in tormenting Naruto Uzumaki, mocking his failures and shutting him out of their games. Wounded pride made him vindictive; when Naruto frightened him with a demon disguise, he answered not with a fair grudge but with a trick meant to put the other boy in genuine peril.

Hibachi attended Iruka Umino's class at the Konoha Academy and once joined in Kiba's scramble for candy. He jeered at Naruto for botching the Clone Technique until Iruka waved him off, and he later barred Naruto from a courage test at the Konoha Cemetery. After Naruto got even by posing as a fox demon beneath a mask and cloak, a humiliated Hibachi baited him with a false path to friendship: slip into the hills where Hibachi's father had just finished a mission, find a corpse, and return with a keepsake. What he hid was his father's warning that enemy shinobi might still be lurking there. When Iruka asked after the missing boy, Hibachi denied knowing anything, but Shikamaru Nara had overheard the whole plot and, fed up with the bullying, told the teacher the truth.
