Hisame

Tall and slender with fair skin, Hisame is a young kunoichi whose short, spiky light-brown hair is kept from her eyes by a white band across her head. Azure earrings, red lipstick, and thin pale eyebrows frame black, pupil-less eyes. Her outfit pairs a pink tube top edged in dark red with an open, light-blue shirt over navy trousers and ninja sandals, and she straps her shuriken pouch to her right leg.

Regarded as one of the brightest kunoichi in Amegakure, Hisame fights with a whip conjured from water that can lash out and bind a foe. She threads lightning chakra through that same whip to lock enemies in place, and the novel version credits her with forming an array of water weapons for both close and distant fighting.

Hisame turned her back on Amegakure to aid Suien in his pursuit of the Hero Water held in Takigakure. She backed Murasame in overwhelming Sasuke Uchiha while Naruto Uzumaki chased after Shibuki, and the tide turned when Shibuki downed the Hero Water and struck back at the attackers. Though beaten there, the novel reveals she survived, ending up captured by Kakashi Hatake.
