Ichikishimahime

For all that she seems human, Ichikishimahime is not. Her disguise gives her fair skin and dark hair, the latter gathered into a pair of buns, one to each side. A sleeveless robe of white and blue clothes her, matched with white sandals; a pearl bracelet rings her right arm, a golden tiara crowns her, and blue tomoe-shaped earrings hang at her ears. Red eyeshadow completes the face.

Ichikishimahime carries herself more lightly than the other cave snakes, drifting weightless and spinning as she chatters and begs Boruto to play. The playfulness hides a crueller streak: she admits a taste for chakra that is thin and about to gutter out, and she calls herself honest. Her test bears that claim out, working on the challenger's mind and grinding down their resolve and endurance without any deception, though she does jab at Boruto each time he stops to think.

She can hover at will, drain the chakra of others, and slip into a human-like shape, though snake features may surface through it. Her hallmark is a genjutsu that drops its target into a cavern set with coloured gems and a wall pierced by holes matching their outlines, an illusion undone only when every hollow holds its right stone. During the Mitsuki's Disappearance Arc, once Boruto had beaten Tagorihime's trial and been parted from his friends, he came upon her; craving only his chakra, she cast him into the gem puzzle, and after he broke free she mused that he made a tough meal before she faded from sight. Later she watched the group depart to seek out Garaga.
