Karin Kagura

Karin has fair skin and reddish-pink eyes, with short, shoulder-length dark brown hair above thin dark brows. Her outfit gathers a short tan collared kimono jacket with white straps wound around her arms, a light red obi at the waist, dark blue shorts, dark wristbands, and plain white sandals.

Gloomy and withdrawn, she opens up mainly to Naruto and stays quiet with most others. Even so, she turns warm and grateful toward anyone willing to lend her a hand.

After her father died of an unexplained illness and left her the store, Karin found the work too much to handle alone. When Naruto stepped inside, she asked him to help rescue Emporium Karin by driving off a band of thieves, handing out an assortment of weapons while wearing an advertising flyer on his back; he cleared the bandits and completed the task. She later ventured into an abandoned mine called Blue Dragon Cave for raw materials, where a strange scream and a pack of unfamiliar ninja unsettled her. Slipping past them, she warned Naruto that something suspicious was afoot and, at his urging, left the cave before thanking him for saving both her and her livelihood.
