Matsu is a Konohagakure townsman who once tended the counter at Ramen Ichiraku. Remembered far more for his slow wits than for any skill with noodles, he turns up in a handful of comic mishaps over the course of the series and in one of its feature films.
Pale of skin, Matsu has black eyes and closely cropped black hair. His outfit is a white kimono, and he knots a length of rope around his head.
Others describe Matsu as a fool, and on top of that as dense. Per the third databook, the words he likes best are the nonsense line 'Doodoo bi doobi dooba.'
