Okisuke

Okisuke is bald, his violet eyes lack pupils, and a cross-shaped scar runs across his forehead and down past his right eye, an old wound that keeps it permanently shut. A dragon tattoo marks the skin above his left eye. For the Kage Summit he dresses in a plain purple kimono-style outfit and a red scarf wound around his neck that hides his mouth and chin while also tucking away a communicator. In the anime, when sent to the field with the Fifth Division, he switches to standard samurai armor and a horned helmet suited to his rank.

Grave and dutiful, Okisuke executes any order given to him exactly and without a moment's pause. The anime shows him initially bristling at fighting alongside shinobi, suspecting the samurai are being used as expendable tools, a misgiving that fades only after Mifune assures him the two forces will stand as equals.

A master swordsman, Okisuke cuts down a White Zetsu clone with a single stroke even while it wears samurai armor, and his reflexes are sharp enough that his hand reaches his hilt before an enemy has fully surfaced from the ground. He can run chakra through his blade with the Samurai Sabre Technique, and his standing as Mifune's right hand speaks to his skill. During the Five Kage Summit he keeps watch over the general, and afterward he sees through Suigetsu and Jūgo disguised among the samurai, drawing both swords to force them to unmask. In the Fourth Shinobi World War he fights with the Fifth Division, reinforcing the Surprise Attack Division and using his chakra flow to try to slice through Kimimaro's hardened bones.
