Ōwashi
CharacterŌwashi presides over the Land of Birds as its daimyō. Openhearted to a fault, he treasures both his realm and its inhabitants. That same trust, however, leaves him exposed to those nearest him, and after his death legend claims his spirit lingers on, reborn as the fearsome Cursed Warrior.
Appearance
Ōwashi keeps his brown hair cropped short and spiky, and it tapers into sideburns that flow directly into his beard, with a moustache rounding out the face. Dark black eyes look out from beneath a modest green hat perched on his head.
Personality
An abundance of trust defines him, and it is exactly that openness which ultimately dooms him. He holds deep affection for his kingdom and all who dwell there, and on occasion he wanders into areas where a ruler is barred from going, purely to look after his subjects with his own eyes.

History
His undoing arrives from inside his own court, when the trusted counselor Mōsō turns on him and takes his life. Rule then falls to his daughter Toki, who assumes it while masquerading as her brother Sagi. In time, people come to believe the fallen lord has returned in the shape of the Cursed Warrior. His name, echoing those borne by his offspring, points toward the Steller's sea eagle.
