Taiseki

Taiseki is a heavyset man whose black hair falls to roughly the neck, worn under a bandanna that bears the forehead protector of his village. He dresses in Iwagakure's regulation shinobi gear, a flak jacket over a shirt whose right sleeve is absent, with a dark drape falling from his waist along the right leg down to the knee.

Reserved by nature, Taiseki stands in contrast to his talkative partner Kakkō, and caution guides everything he does. He approaches the fight with Kakashi and Obito unhurriedly, treating it seriously despite facing mere children, and he is quick to toss aside a kunai stained with Kakashi's blood so it cannot be turned into a means of tracking him.

Taiseki's defining skill, the Hiding with Camouflage Technique, bends the light around his body to make him vanish, then lets him slip about and cut down foes who never see him coming, fitting for how wary he is. Throughout the Third Shinobi World War, Taiseki commands a squad beside Kakkō and Mahiru, whose skilled misdirection lets them harry the enemy, and by camouflaging himself he steals in from an opponent's blind spot and fells them with a single clean strike. When his group meets Team Minato under Kakashi Hatake, they manage to seize Rin Nohara as a hostage. Cloaked once again, he creeps up on Kakashi and robs the left eye of its sight, but in that instant Obito Uchiha's Sharingan flares to life, and he uses it to locate Taiseki and cut him down. The Naruto Shippūden game Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 later features him as a boss.
