Yajirobee
CharacterYajirobee is a Konohagakure chunin who appears right at the outset of the series, one of the ninja rounded up to hunt for the young Naruto after the Hokage's residence is robbed of the Scroll of Seals.
Appearance
Yajirobee's outfit is topped by a helmet, under which he keeps the village forehead protector, and he wears oversized glasses along with an older Konoha flak jacket model that lacks the scroll pouches. A high-collared garment lies beneath it all.
Personality
In keeping with the attitude of that era, Yajirobee openly disdained Naruto because of the Nine-Tailed Fox held inside him, and he made no secret of wanting the boy caught and punished for having run off with the Scroll of Seals.

History
At the series' opening Yajirobee stood among the throng of ninja called together to chase down Naruto Uzumaki once the boy had lifted the Scroll of Seals, and he remarked that the young thief had to be located before he might accidentally unleash the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's power. Across his back he bore a tantō, a detail suggesting he was trained in kenjutsu. His name, aptly enough, is that of a traditional Japanese balancing toy that operates much like a seesaw.
