Yashiro Uchiha

Ash-grey hair tops Yashiro's head, and he habitually kept his eyes narrowed to slits, widening them only when calling on his Sharingan. His clan's usual clothing suited him, a short-sleeved purple shirt with a high collar and the Uchiha crest stitched on the back, paired with brown trousers, black guards over his arms, wrappings on his legs, and a pale obi crossed by a darker line. When on duty, he swapped it for the standard Leaf shinobi outfit stamped with the police force emblem on the shoulder.

On the job Yashiro came across as blunt and proud, voicing his distrust of Itachi to his face and scolding him, yet backing off the instant Fugaku told him to. Underneath that front lay a self-serving, cowardly streak. He preferred to nudge his leader toward rebellion from the shadows rather than shoulder any blame himself, and he prized his own survival over the clan's honor, fleeing and pleading for mercy once Itachi turned on his household.

Yashiro belonged to the Uchiha and the Konoha Military Police Force, and his sharp analytical mind and command ability drew praise even from Fugaku Uchiha. Like others of his blood he awakened the Sharingan, which let him read the flow of chakra, spot illusions, foresee movements, and copy techniques. He joined Tekka and Inabi in pressing Itachi over his absence from a clan meeting and over the death of Shisui Uchiha, presenting a supposed suicide note and warning that betrayal of the clan would not go unpunished, an exchange that ended with Itachi lashing out before Fugaku smoothed it over.

Yashiro ran deeper into the clan's scheme to seize control of Konoha, quietly taking word from the masked man and passing it to Fugaku to spur a coup while dodging any responsibility of his own. On the night the Uchiha were wiped out, Itachi slipped into his home and killed his parents, wife, and son as Yashiro fled. Cornered, he tried to pin everything on the masked man, only to learn that the stranger was now aiding Itachi in the slaughter; his offers to cancel the coup and his begging for life went nowhere. Itachi trapped him in Tsukuyomi, subjecting him to days of agony in an instant, and once he could no longer form coherent words, cut off his head.
