Tekka Uchiha

Tekka wears his dull black hair at shoulder length and has dark eyes, with a small dot marking the center of his forehead. Off duty he favors the clan's usual look, a high-collared black shirt bearing the Uchiha crest on the back over dark trousers. On the job he switches to the police force uniform, the standard Konoha gear stamped with the force's emblem on each sleeve.

Reserved and even-tempered, Tekka speaks far less than his colleagues Inabi and Yashiro. He carries a steady confidence, sure of his talents as a member of the storied Uchiha clan.

Like others of his bloodline, Tekka awakened the Sharingan, gaining the clan's gifts for reading chakra flow, spotting illusions, anticipating movement, and copying techniques he witnesses. In the novels he can also snare enemies in a Sharingan-fueled genjutsu, and he shows a sensor's talent, picking up on chakra signatures as they wink out. Both traits surface at his end. He and two fellow officers first pressed Itachi about the note left with Shisui's body, warning him not to conceal anything from the Anbu, a confrontation that turned violent before Fugaku smoothed it over. Later, during the massacre recounted in Book of Dark Night, Tekka felt his clansmen's chakra vanishing across the compound and moved to investigate, only to meet Itachi at his door. His attempt to trap his kinsman in a genjutsu was crushed by the far stronger Mangekyo Sharingan, and Itachi ran him through and watched him die.
