Naruto Enters the Battle!

Given the go-ahead to join the war, Naruto and B race to the fighting and immediately run into disguised White Zetsu Army soldiers, dispatching them easily thanks to Naruto's newfound knack for sensing negative emotions. Naruto splits off numerous clones to reinforce the various fronts, and the pair arrive in time to rescue Musai and Nonota from the reincarnated Toroi, who is quickly sealed away. Elsewhere, the medical and logistics compound sits frozen, no one permitted near the central tent where Shizune and Sakura carry out an autopsy, their findings relayed on to headquarters.

On the Fourth Division's ground, the resurrected Kage close in on Gaara and Ōnoki. Warned by Mū that two figures approach, they are met by a colossal surge of sand that draws a lively remark from the Second Mizukage. Assuming it to be Shukaku's doing, the Fourth Kazekage halts the wave with his Gold Dust, prompting the Third Raikage to recognise him as a Magnet Release user. To his shock, the source is not the beast but his own son, and Gaara pins three of the four Kage in arms of sand.

Mū, the one Kage to slip the trap, is set upon by Ōnoki's Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World, and the former Tsuchikage answers with the same technique, the collision gouging a vast crater into the field. When his father demands to know where the One-Tail is, with the rest of the division holding back for the signal, Gaara tells him he is no longer the jinchūriki his father once made of him. The characters Musai and Nonota, unnamed in the manga, receive their names in this episode's credits.
