The Five Kage's Decision

Tsunade briefs the Konoha Council, warning Homura and Koharu that the Akatsuki menace is led by Madara Uchiha himself. Over in Kumogakure, the local council debates gathering intelligence from the other four nations. Killer B attends but spends the meeting polishing his rap lyrics, none of them aware that Kisame is eavesdropping through the Samehada blade he has slipped in among them.

Tsunade lays out the coming war to Sakura, Shikamaru, and Kakashi, and a shaken Sakura is asked to watch over Naruto. When Naruto vanishes from Ramen Ichiraku, a village-wide search begins, but it turns out Fukasaku had reverse summoned him to Mount Myoboku for a prophecy from the Great Toad Sage foretelling an encounter with an octopus at a resort and a battle with Sasuke. Days later the Raikage convenes a Kage meeting in Kumo, where the leaders resolve to keep Naruto and B hidden. Tsunade objects at first but yields, and in private she persuades A to have B teach Naruto to master his tailed beast, since both jinchuriki will be needed in the end.

Satisfied with the arrangement, Tsunade returns home and informs Naruto of an S-rank assignment on an island within Kumo's reach, with Yamato going along as captain. Trivia: a poster for the film Blood Prison is visible in the entrance hall of Killer B's concert venue.
