The team tries its luck at the Chunin Exams but stumbles on the very first task, ending their run before it can gather momentum. Worse follows when their original jonin leader is put out of action by Enko's uncontrolled Onikuma clan technique, prompting Ibiki Morino to take over the squad. Their known duties are modest: they contribute to the collective hunt for the Byakuya Gang, and they are set to recovering a runaway rabbit, a chore complicated both by the skittish animal and by Enko's recurring bouts of rage.
