Thundercloud Unit

Assembled out of Kumogakure, this backup group falls under the logistics arm of the Allied Shinobi Forces and numbers seven fighters, each roughly twelve or thirteen years old. All of them are schooled in the handling of ninja weaponry, with bladed combat standing out as their strongest discipline. Their home village regarded them as unusually gifted for their age, which is how children came to hold a posting among wartime forces.

The squad deployed to the Seventh Front during the Fourth Shinobi World War, sent to reinforce the Amphibious Search and Destroy Unit after that detachment had been swamped by two thousand White Zetsu clones. The enemy churned the battlefield's poisonous red earth into a thick veil of toxic gas, trapping the young fighters inside an enormous statue. Their leader Yukai rallied the group there, and together they stepped out to face the clones rather than wait to perish. Yukai took a wound in the clash, but Omoi arrived to fight alongside them, and their combined lightning technique, the Thunder Bomb, cleared the poison and wiped out the last of the Zetsu.

Yukai heads the unit and speaks for it, gathering his teammates within the statue before leading them into battle and suffering injury in the effort. Omoi, though he belongs to a different squad, joins their stand and supplies the decisive lightning collaboration that turns the fight. The remaining places are filled by the other young weapon experts who round out the group of seven.
