Pineapple

A mask hides Pineapple's face, tinted glasses shade his eyes, and a suit of armor sculpted in the shape of a pineapple wraps his body, leaving a jagged, fruit-like outline.

By temperament Pineapple plays it safe, steering clear of pointless gambles when the enemy is deadly. Even so, he will give his own life to see a job through whenever other lives hang in the balance. His usual companion in the field is the equally dedicated Mohican, and the failure to guard Waganma while Metal Bat was away has weighed on him ever since.

After Metal Bat had cleared out the demon-level monsters during the Monster Raid, Pineapple and Mohican showed up and were assigned to rush the sponsor Narinki and his boy Waganma to a hospital. Then Elder Centipede tore up from underground, and the two were ordered to grab the pair and flee while Metal Bat cut loose. Their escape hit a wall of rubble, but Metal Knight lured the centipede away, only for them to cross paths with three more monsters: Rhino Wrestler, Sludge Jellyfish, and Phoenix Man. Squaring off against Rhino Wrestler cost them the fight, and Hero Association staff later revived the beaten duo.

In the Monster Association raid the two stood watch over the rescued Waganma, drew fresh resolve from Bad's rallying words, tended the wounded, and joined the ring of heroes hemming in a powerless Garou until King broke things up. His speed once opened real space between him and Elder Centipede, and his arsenal runs to fruit-styled moves, among them Pine Grenade, the Viz-dubbed Concentrated Pine-Acid Juice, and the Pineapple Cannon, though Rhino Wrestler scored each near the floor of a hundred-point scale.
