Länge is a soft-spoken, book-obsessed mage who sits the First-Class Mage Exam alongside Frieren and Fern. Paired with Methode and Ton during the opening leg, she is easily startled and tends to disappear into whatever volume she happens to be holding.
Small in stature with a youthful face, Länge carries a childlike air. Her pink hair falls all the way to her lower back, and a matching pink shows in her eyes, while three sections of fringe drop down to border her cheeks. A white dress forms her usual outfit, loose-fitting with frilled sleeves and openings cut at the shoulders, its hem ending around the calf above a pair of brown boots. Three little bows in pink sit along the chest, and a star pendant hangs from the necklace at her throat. Her weapon is a staff capped with a star.
A team player by nature, Länge is among the handful of examinees content to band together with Denken once the second stage begins. She says little, preferring the company of books, which seem to pile up around her wherever she settles; even a moving carriage will not pull her attention from a good read. Fear comes easily to her, though. The corpse-like mark staining a booby-trapped corridor in the King's Tomb leaves her clutching at her chest, and being flung into a sealed chamber by gargoyles reduces her to tears.
Länge travels to Äußerst with the other hopefuls and is sorted into the first party beside Methode and Ton. Their group is one of six to bag a Stille across the opening stage, including a win over a rival party late on the second day. The break between rounds finds her tucked away in a city library, buried in books when the instructions for the next stage arrive.
For the second stage she throws in with Denken's cooperative push, joining Richter, Laufen, and Methode as the group ventures into the King's Tomb together. Denken steers them clear of an early snare, but gargoyles ambush the party in the room beyond, and Länge is cut off inside a cramped cell whose spiked walls grind inward. With no escape, she smashes her golem flask; one of Lernen's constructs hauls her out over its shoulder, sparing her life while ending her run at the exam. She spends the aftermath reading among the other failed candidates. Little is documented about her magic beyond a defensive barrier she throws up against a gargoyle, though qualifying for the exam at all marks her as no lower than fifth-class.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
