Revolte

Revolte is a tall demon crowned by two large, claw-shaped horns, his light hair falling in a straight fringe. A mask ringed with circular ornamentation hides the deep scars cut through both eyes, with five long danglers draped over his brow and two more trailing past his cheeks. Golden pauldrons joined by a pearl-like piece sit on his shoulders, and he bears two pairs of arms, each wrist ringed with three bracelets, plus an ornate sash at his waist. Where most demons would have legs, his torso gives way below the waist to the pale body of a serpent.

A seasoned Demon General, Revolte is calculating and watchful, his many raids on human settlements having taught him how people tend to behave even if their motives elude him. He fights aggressively yet stays wary against strong foes, growing uneasy at the sight of four mages, three of them first-class, and choosing to hang back and study them rather than rush in. His memory is sharp enough that he recognizes Genau as the partner of a first-class mage he once killed, and he uses the connection to needle the man emotionally. He also counts on humans splitting their forces, knowing they tend to leave someone behind to guard the fallen.

Revolte wields his weapons with a master swordsman's grace, and his four-armed, serpentine frame lets him handle four blades at once with startling speed and precision, burying opponents under a flurry of strikes that each kill outright if met head-on. He can press a first-class mage like Genau and a warrior like Stark at the same time with almost no opening to exploit. His demon body far outclasses any human's in strength, speed, and toughness, with near-bottomless stamina that lets him ignore even crippling wounds.

His weapons, the Divine Cleaving Swords, take their name from a legendary blade said to have split a mountain. Magically forged, they can shift weight on command from feather-light to the heft of a boulder, though they turn brittle and snap easily the moment he can no longer keep them charged with magic.
