Schlacht the Omniscient is a demon who was the Demon King's Confidant, his magic able to glimpse events ten centuries off. He marshaled the Seven Sages of Destruction, and in the decisive clash he and three of the Sages fell before the Hero of the South.
Two long horns rise high on either side of Schlacht's head, bowing outward and then curving back in. A dark hood hides his pale hair, and a mask below the nose covers his mouth; his blue eyes sit in black sclera, each marked underneath by three straight lines. He dresses in layers, a long flowing dark cloak set with metal pauldrons that each bear an eye emblem, a darker hooded coat slit to free his horns, and beneath it a paler robe whose chest is strewn with more eye motifs. An oval pendant hangs from a necklace at his throat.
Schlacht stays calm and composed, untroubled by the prospect of his own death; Macht notes that he seems resigned to dying whenever talk turns to facing the Hero of the South. Unusually for a demon, he frets over the long-term survival of his whole race and accepts a possibly fatal battle, setting safeguards to keep demonkind alive a thousand years on. For all his rank he treats allies gently and persuasively. He knows full well that only fear holds his subordinates in line, yet he brings Macht a proposal instead of an order, threatening him only after the first refusal. He will resort to force and make examples of the defiant, but even so he soothes Macht's feelings, granting that the other hates conflict and claiming he has no wish to fight.
As the Demon King's trusted confidant, Schlacht relays his master's orders and coordinates the Seven Sages of Destruction, often dragging Macht into his schemes; his magic, Frieren says, lets him look as much as ten centuries ahead. About a decade before the Demon King falls, he gathers every Sage to confront the Hero of the South, humanity's greatest hero. He approaches Macht first, and when Macht balks he compels him by bringing Grausam, the single foe Macht cannot beat. Schlacht swears no harm will come to Macht, though he can promise nothing for himself; told he looks ready to die, he replies that he cannot know his fate without trying.
Foreseeing that Frieren will one day pore over Macht's recollections, he has Grausam wipe them so no one can witness the coming clash. In that final clash the Hero of the South cuts down three Sages before the two of them destroy each other. His foresight spans countless versions of what is to come, a gift so vast that even the Greater Demon Solitaer cannot grasp his mind, and it reaches past his own death, rightly foretelling that Edel's reading of Macht's memories would let Frieren watch the old exchange. Their eventual duel, he tells Frieren in a parting message, is fought to secure demonkind's future ten centuries later.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
