Sein is an easygoing priest with a rare natural gift for the Goddess's magic, raised in a tiny hamlet within the Alt Woods. After Frieren spots his talent, he travels with her party for a while, set on finding the childhood friend whose invitation to adventure he once declined.
Now in his thirties, Sein stands tall and solidly built, with a goatee on his chin. His brown hair falls to the shoulders, gathered in a low ponytail, and a long center-parted fringe drops to mid-cheek. Over a turtleneck he layers a long white robe, its collar embroidered, with black trousers beneath. Warm weather brings a gold-accented dark green coat belted high at the waist; in the cold he trades it for a longer coat in the same green.
Easygoing and almost always deadpan, Sein reads people with real sharpness, quick to size up the tangles between them. He naturally falls into the steady grown-up's role within the group, nudging Stark and Fern toward mending their quarrels. A good deal of guilt and regret weighs on him, from believing he owed it to his brother to stay home to turning down a friend's call to go adventuring. Knowing Frieren stiffens his resolve to stop adding to those regrets, which is why he is ready to break from the party and chase his own aim. He brands himself a dirty adult and rarely lets his true feelings show.
Frieren rates Sein a naturally gifted priest, and it shows: he readily lifts poisons his own brother, a healer the bishop Heiter judged fit for the Holy City, had written off as hopeless. Like any priest he wields the Goddess's scripture-borne magic, and an innate blessing leaves him strongly curse-resistant; when a Confusion Flower's sleeping hex settles over the group, he holds out longer than Fern, Stark, and even Frieren before sleep claims them. His healing mends wounds, draws out poison, and lifts curses alike.
On the attack he can fire Three Spears of the Goddess, three tight lances of light loosed at a target; one spell can shock a sleeper awake for five seconds, and another sniffs out poison hidden in food. A spellbook rides in his chest pocket for casting mid-fight.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....

Five Bleach female characters, ranked and settled. Yoruichi sits at number five, the spot nobody expects, and our number one is an Arrancar with a soft heart....
