Mito

Oval glasses sit over her dark eyes at school, where she brushes her straight, light-colored bob to the right and pins it with two black clips just above the shoulders, all under the Kaibara uniform topped by a blue sweater. Away from class she trades the glasses for contacts and gathers her hair into a small ponytail with a pair of strands framing her face.

Calm, mature, and responsible, Mito rarely loses her composure and prefers to take life as it comes, brushing aside thoughts of school or exams during a break. She has a teasing streak and a quirky turn of phrase, along with a surprisingly intense enthusiasm for the things that catch her interest, yet she is every bit as warm and gentle as her friend Amane and staunchly supportive of the people around her.

Mito was already close with Amane before Sawa entered the picture, the two waiting for each other's classes to end so they could walk home together despite their opposite temperaments. When Sawa strikes up a conversation with the pair, Mito welcomes her openly and hopes they can become friends, going on to tease Sawa warmly, especially about her budding relationship with Shiki Sohma. Within her trio of friends, echoing the previous generation, she stands as the studious, even-tempered counterpart to Arisa Uotani.
