Chapter 29 turns the spotlight on the jealous members of Yuki's fan club, whose frustration over Tohru drives them to march on the Hanajima home. What they expect to be an easy scare instead spirals into a meeting they cannot control.
The girls who idolize Yuki have grown increasingly bitter about the easy closeness Tohru shares with him. Convinced they have to do something, a group led by the club's officers resolves to take the matter into their own hands.
Their plan carries them to the household of Saki Hanajima, where the encounter refuses to follow the script they imagined. Rather than intimidating anyone, the visitors find the situation turning against them in ways they never anticipated.
The fan club's resentment toward Tohru finally pushes its members into action. They set out for the Hanajima residence intent on confronting the friendship between Tohru and Yuki, and the visit produces results that catch the intruders completely off guard.
