Brotherhood's 47th chapter reunites Edward with Hohenheim in the slum of Kanama the night before the Promised Day. Pride ambushes the group under cover of dark, and a long-awaited ally returns bearing a new automail arm.
Directed to his father in the rundown settlement of Kanama, Edward greets Hohenheim with a punch before the old man agrees to share the full story. Learning that his father is the very Philosopher's Stone their enemies covet, Edward still refuses to use him or to join his fight, though Pinako's relayed account of Trisha's dying words moves the immortal to tears. Bracing himself for what he expects will be his last battle, Edward transmutes a fresh red coat and leads his party out of town.
On the road, Alphonse appears, but Ling senses danger and warns the others back. Pride erupts from the armor, striking with shadow spears, and reveals that he has been inhabiting Alphonse's hollow body all along. As the homunculus fixes on Greed, Edward plunges Kanama into darkness to starve the shadows of light, though the move blinds him as well. Greed works out that Pride's true container lies hidden nearby among the bushes rather than within the armor.
Heinkel's animal senses lead him to the boy Selim Bradley, Pride's actual body, and the fight fractures across the black forest. Darius discovers that Gluttony's keen nose has been tracking the group and squares off against him in chimera form. When Gluttony crushes Greed's arm, Ling takes control to use his gift for sensing homunculi and brings the creature down, only for Gluttony to swell into his monstrous shape. Before he can strike, a figure bursts from the brush and carves him apart with a bladed metal arm, and Ling joyfully recognizes Lan Fan, returned at last with an automail limb.
Hohenheim confirms to Edward that he is the Philosopher's Stone their foes want and warns that an eclipse on the Promised Day is central to Father's design, yet Edward declines to use him or aid him. Pride reveals he has been possessing Alphonse's armor and attacks the group, prompting Edward to black out Kanama to weaken its shadows. Heinkel locates Pride's true body in the child Selim, Darius battles the tracking Gluttony, and Lan Fan returns with a new automail arm to save Ling from Gluttony's transformed form.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
