The Dai-Gunzan-Du is a Beastmen command vessel that appears solely in the film Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood's End. Piloted by Viral, it stands in for the lost Dai-Gunzan and borrows the styling of his other machines.
The Dai-Gunzan-Du is a fortress-class Gunmen exclusive to the first film retelling, Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood's End. It exists to replace the original Dai-Gunzan after that machine is captured and its general Thymilph is killed, giving Viral a fresh command vessel to lead the Beastmen fleet.
The craft carries over every capability of the machine it replaces. A dense spread of cannons lets it fire on enemies from almost every direction at once, and it can pitch Gunmen across the battlefield, dropping them wherever they are needed to strike.
Its look leans on Viral's personal mecha. The vessel gains a second pair of arms in the manner of the Enkidudu, wears the crest associated with Enkidu, and adopts the coloring of Enki. Because it inherits the earlier fortress's role, it can also fill that slot when the Four Generals merge their craft into the Do-Ten-Kai-Zan.
Viral commands the Dai-Gunzan-Du, taking it up to make good the loss of both the Dai-Gunzan and the general Thymilph. During the movie it joins the generals into their combined fortress before that giant is swiftly cut down by the Dai-Gurren and Gurren-Lagann.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
In Gurren Lagann The Movie: Childhood's End, the original Dai-Gunzan is captured and its general Thymilph is killed, so Viral takes up the Dai-Gunzan-Du as a fresh command vessel to replace it.
