Height and a lean frame define Macy, who keeps her pink hair cropped to the chin with a bold cowlick swept over the right of her brow. Her eyebrows sit dark and short above delicate eyes, and her nose is petite. For streetwear she layers a fur-shouldered tan trench over a turtleneck, the coat cinched by a fur-tipped sash, its long lace-cuffed sleeves, chest buttons, deep hip pockets, and lace hem paired with pale fur-topped boots.

On stage with Cecile Die Twice she restyles the hair into a broad swirl hiding her forehead and right eye, adds eyeliner, and slips into a sleek black number cut low. Once she becomes a Dragonclad, her wardrobe shifts to a pale dress reaching the knee, its collar tapered, worn with elbow-length sleeves, a white sash, and a front row of seven fasteners, topped off by a wristwatch and a thin dark band at her throat.

Away from the spotlight Macy reads as shy and withdrawn, yet her devotion to Ninny Spangcole runs to obsession. Anyone who threatens her former bandmate becomes a target, which is why she set out to level The Realist's headquarters after the outlet ran a fabricated piece claiming Ninny despised her. The mere sight of another woman being warm with Ninny sends her into a violent rage, and in a tense enough moment she will even lash out at Ninny herself.

Beneath the fixation lies a deeply unhappy person searching for meaning and craving the feeling of mattering. She never belonged in Cecile Die Twice and stayed only for Ninny and the fame she feared losing. Everything changed when she took in an infant dragon she named Elly, an act that gave her a sense of strength and purpose. She dotes on the creature, calling it her little one, blind to the peril a wild dragon poses. Even as Cinderella molted and tore through Reverse London, Macy begged the others to spare it and tried to reason with a beast that could no longer understand her. Ninny notes her habit of weeping and grumbling, though becoming a Dragonclad and learning she would live alongside Ninny left her warmer and far more content.

Macy joined Cecile Die Twice as a vocalist alongside Ninny, convinced she offered nothing but height, looks, and dance moves, and she remained only to keep her fame and stay near Ninny. Two months before the main events, a chance collision with Balgo Parks awakened her Watcher sight, and she discovered a sleeping infant dragon out in the rain. Doubting it was real until it drank at her home, she raised the creature as a pet, watched it grow, realized she alone could see it, and named it Elly.

After quitting the band without explanation, Macy watched a talk show recirculate doctored footage of Ninny, and thanked Cinderella for blasting the screen apart. Bruno Bangnyfe then recruited her, and the next day she had Cinderella bomb The Realist's office in Reverse London. Ninny confronted her there, Noel Niihashi downed the dragon with a Witch Kit, and an enraged Macy hurled a desk at Noel for chatting amiably with Ninny. Ninny flew her out on Marshall, leaving Cinderella behind, and at a Cloth-shrouded tower Macy recounted her story before Bruno crashed the scene. To her horror, Cinderella soon arrived, shed its shell into a Märchen, and rained Star Ash across the city. Macy pleaded for a bloodless solution, but the dragon was beyond reason. After Billy Banx Jr. put Cinderella down, he placed the newly turned Dragonclad in Noel and Ninny's care.
