Pernida Parnkgjas

At first Pernida shows itself only as a hooded shape in a long white cloak, buttoned at the front and marked along one side by a Hagal rune in dark red, its face lost in shadow apart from a pair of glowing eyes. Under that disguise it is a colossal, pale left hand, its fingertips chained together and a great eye set into the palm, the golden irises ringed by extra pupils. Once the chains snap it grows the rest of its body, a towering arm trailing exposed tendon, muscle, and bone, large enough to loom over human-sized fighters.

Silent at the start, Pernida can be understood only by its fellow Schutzstaffel, but during its duel with Mayuri Kurotsuchi it begins to speak, its slurred mumbling sharpening until it can hold a full conversation. In battle it turns cocky, scoffing that a foe's size means nothing and taunting Mayuri by aping his laughter. Above all it clings fiercely to its identity as a Quincy, taking deep pride in the label and refusing to forgive anyone who belittles it, despite being, quite literally, a piece of the Soul King.

Its signature, The Compulsory, is a Schrift by title alone, an outgrowth of its command over its own nerves rather than a gift from Yhwach's blood; by firing those nerves into a target it seizes control of the body, warping, crushing, or shredding it, and it can thread the same nerves into the ground and buildings to raise giant hands of stone. As the arm that governs progress, Pernida also evolves without limit, learning from anything its nerves touch, copying enemy abilities, and reshaping its own anatomy at will. Severed fingers sprout into fully sentient clones, and it can regenerate or wholly rebuild itself after grievous damage. It fights with the Heilig Bogen, conjuring as many as five bows to rain nerve-laced holy arrows that can strike a target from the inside, and it shares the Soul King's immunity to Yhwach's precognition. Its weaknesses are narrow but real: exposing the raw nerves causes agony, altering the anatomy of a limb it has invaded breaks its grip, and powerful electric shocks force its nerves back.
