Karasuki

Karasuki speaks plainly and to the point, offering little beyond an account of a situation or a request for orders. Though it addresses the Ōtsutsuki with courtesy, it holds no genuine allegiance to any side; its sole purpose is to carry people through time and to teach them the rules that govern such travel.

The relic has endured for centuries, giving it an enormous lifespan. Its central power is temporal transport, sending people forward or back through the years, though every trip drains a heavy supply of chakra.

Konoha discovered Karasuki and brought it home for study, unaware of what it truly was. Sensing an easier route to the Nine-Tails' chakra, Urashiki Ōtsutsuki slipped into the village, broke the seal binding the turtle, and fed it enough chakra for a jump. Boruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha intercepted them, and a clash inside a void knocked Urashiki away too soon. Arriving just after the younger Sasuke had defected from Konoha, Karasuki laid out the situation and warned the pair to avoid meddling with the past. Once Urashiki was finally defeated and killed, the turtle returned Boruto and Sasuke to their proper time. Left with spare chakra drawn from Kurama, it was encouraged by the two to set off on its own and discover what it wanted from life.
