Summary
With Sasuke admitted to the hospital, Team 10, Kiba, and Shino leave and trade guesses about what Konohamaru witnessed, having missed the fight with Urashiki. On the rooftop, Jiraiya thanks Sasuke for helping protect Naruto, and the two visitors plan to head home the next day. When Sakura asks about a smudged letter she found, Jiraiya covers for them by claiming they are fans of his books, and a flustered Sasuke plays along. Naruto later gives Boruto a farewell gift with instructions not to open it yet.
The following day Karasuki emerges ready to travel again, and Boruto hides it from Naruto during their goodbye. Jiraiya guesses the pair learned things they should not have and confirms Sasuke can erase memories, so Sasuke uses his Sharingan to wipe the recollections of Naruto, Jiraiya, and everyone else the travelers met. Hinata and Neji later find the two knocked out in the forest.
In transit, Karasuki explains it recharged by absorbing leaked Nine-Tails chakra and can now cross eras again, treating Boruto's suggestions as commands. Back in the present, Sasuke tells Naruto that Boruto pinpointed Urashiki's true target, and Naruto urges him to linger in the village and visit more often. Sasuke returns home and thanks Sakura. The next day, after looking over family photos, Boruto tracks his father to Jiraiya's memorial, where Naruto asks what he made of him.
