Seimei

Character

Seimei founded the Takumi Village and made its name forging weapons for other shinobi lands. Cold, proud, and loyal to his village, he is revived through Shukaku's chakra to take up the Four Celestial Symbols Men's combined arsenal as the so-called Ultimate Weapon, only to fall to Gaara.

Appearance

Fair of skin, Seimei wears his long, spiky silver hair pinned under a gold circlet, and a red line runs beneath each grey eye. His clothing is an outsized beige kimono, red striping down the cuffs and the Takumi Village crest stitched at the front, with white jika-tabi on his feet.

Personality

Through his brief showing Seimei stays composed, cold, and detached, so sure of his own might that he laughs off his enemies' struggles as pointless, his arrogance plain. That calm cracks only when a foe manages to land a hit or dodge his strikes. Gaara pegs him as a man who sees shinobi as nothing more than tools, and he stays fiercely devoted to the Takumi Village he built. A streak of cruelty and selfishness runs through him too: with Gaara writhing in agony, his only thought is his own revival and an endless well of chakra.

History

The people of Takumi looked on Seimei as the ultimate weapon, and with reason: he mastered weaponry and could wield both Fire and Wind Release, with a sharp eye that let him read, at a single glance, what had befallen the cage that once held Gaara. His true feat was welding four arms into one: Hōki's Fire Sword, the Garian Sword, the Weaknessless Soaring Shortswords, and the Infinite Armour, all of it directed by thought alone with no need to move, while he rode a sphere of chakra fed by the green orbs set in the blades.

Suiko, Ryūgan, Kujaku, and Hōki hauled his corpse from its crypt using Shukaku's power, and it was Hōki who then surrendered his own body to bring Seimei back, letting him assemble the weapons of his fallen comrades into an ultimate form. Gaara proved his undoing. Hard as he was to put down, the fight effectively ended when a strike to the chest from Gaara's Spear of Shukaku tore apart the armour billed as indestructible. To leave nothing to chance, Gaara then buried the two beneath one final technique, the Sand Waterfall Imperial Funeral, hauling a pit of sand up out of broken bedrock to entomb Seimei and Hōki alike.
