Funeral Suspenders is a professional hero holding Rank 40 of the Hero Association's C-Class, fighting in a black funeral suit with red suspenders. Calm off the battlefield and cheeky on it, he teams up with partner D-Pad for coordinated tag-team attacks.
He fights in a black suit accented by red suspenders, his silver hair spiking up with a single loose strand falling over the brow. A pair of glasses sits on his face, and a red lightning-bolt mark streaks across his forehead.
Away from a fight he keeps an even, composed temperament, but combat brings out a mischievous side, and he readily needles and taunts whoever he faces. He works smoothly alongside his partner D-Pad, the two anticipating each other well enough to build joint techniques. His funeral attire is a deliberate touch, worn as a gesture of condolence toward the foes he defeats.
He first crosses paths with Mumen Rider en route to J-City, cautioning the cyclist that the sea monster there outclasses C-Class fighters. During a later monster raid he joins an assault on the Hundred-Eyes Octopus, goes down, and is pulled to safety by Bone and Red Muffler. After Tatsumaki turns Z-City inside out, he gathers with other heroes among the ruins to debate what should be done with the depowered Garou, only for King to break up the argument. In the Neo Heroes era he is on hand at the A-City headquarters when Tatsumaki battles Apollo underground, rushing to the lower floors once the alarm sounds.
Side stories flesh out his partnership with D-Pad. In one they rope off a Mysterious Being's corpse that Saitama had already slain and accidentally take the credit, then try to stop the A-Class villain Bull-Bull mid-robbery, downing several henchmen before Bull-Bull overwhelms them both; the two frequently train together and even develop moves that only work in tandem, and he earns his promotion to Rank 40 afterward. Elsewhere he answers McCoy's summons to the besieged Z-City police station but arrives too late, the monster already dead. In a fight he relies on confident unarmed skill rather than any special power, using the plain Suspender Kick and the Suspender Storm, in which D-Pad seizes his suspenders and whirls him about like a flail.
