Kyōhei is born to Izumi Miyamura and Kyōko Hori once they wed, which makes him grandson to the Miyamura elders Naozumi and Iori as well as to the Hori elders Kyōsuke and Yuriko. On his mother's side, Sōta Hori stands as his uncle. His debut lands in Chapter 140 of the original webcomic.
