Wax is the sixty-sixth chapter of the Horimiya manga, logged in the Japanese order as Page 66 and spotlighting Izumi Miyamura. A contact lens that Yanagi drops sparks a comedy of misread signals between Ishikawa and Sengoku, while Hori's father, Kyousuke, presses Miyamura to start calling him dad. The title comes from Kyouko snapping at her father for using her hair wax.
Ishikawa crouches outside the classroom hunting for a contact lens that Yanagi has dropped, and Sengoku, catching only the pose, reads it as a groveling apology. Curious and meaning to say it is time to head home, Sengoku moves closer, but Yanagi narrows his eyes to see who is coming and the squint reads as a glare. Spooked, Sengoku bolts for the council room, though the missing lens is eventually recovered.
Nearby, Yoshikawa keeps Miyamura company as he waits for Ishikawa outside.
A cheerful man approaches and asks Miyamura whether he is waiting on Hori, and the boy greets him as Kyousuke. Hori's father urges Miyamura to start calling him dad, a request Miyamura turns down without hesitation, which leaves a bewildered Ishikawa fretting over his friend's home life. Kyousuke calls the relationship complicated and, when pressed, describes himself as almost Miyamura's father, then lets Kyouko's name slip and tips Ishikawa off that Hori is somehow involved.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
The chapter ends back at the Hori house, where Kyouko snaps at her father for helping himself to her hair wax, the detail that gives the installment its title. This is the sixty-sixth chapter, logged in the Japanese order as Page 66, and it spotlights Izumi Miyamura.
Chapter 66 is titled "Wax," a reference to the closing scene where Kyouko Hori snaps at her father for helping himself to her hair wax.
