Yoshie Komatsu worked as an in-betweener on the original Dragon Ball series, contributing to 18 episodes across multiple story arcs including the Emperor Pilaf Saga, Tournament Saga, Red Ribbon Army Saga, and King Piccolo Saga. Her role involved creating the transitional frames that brought key animation to life, a foundational craft in traditional anime production. She also provided in-between animation support for Dragon Ball Z and worked on ink and paint duties for Castle in the Sky.
