Almost nothing of Bug-Eye's past is on record. She auditions for the reformed Guardians of the Globe but is passed over. Later she is among the heroes taken captive by Doc Seismic, and once the ReAnimen free her, she joins the counterattack against his tunneling monsters.
During the Invincible War she and Throwbolt rush to back up Kid Omni-Man in his brawl with Capvincible, a variant that never surfaces again and was likely slain. The same trio is afterward seen leaving the body of Hairvincible behind, another kill, though Bug-Eye takes serious wounds in that fight.
