Maskvincible

His body closely mirrors that of the original Invincible. He is tall and fair-skinned, with thick black hair worn full and voluminous, and he is assumed to have brown eyes as well. A snug full-body suit in black and blue covers him from head to toe, its black boots left smooth without kneepads. What truly distinguishes him is the black mask hiding his entire face, fitted with pale white goggles.

Maskvincible is a villainous but deeply wounded version of Mark, masking his hurt behind a hard shell and his signature covering. This Mark walked away from heroism and gave himself over to villainy, yet the change left scars. Where his crueler counterparts act out of sadism, he holds tight to a powerful bond with his mother, often returning to memories of home, including playing catch with his father. His violence flows from personal grief rather than devotion to the Viltrum Empire or simple bloodlust, and throughout the multiversal assault his true aim is to find a living version of his mother and carry her back to his world.

Maskvincible grew up much like the mainstream Mark, sharing games of catch with his father Nolan. In his teens, after his powers emerged, his mother Debbie was killed by means never revealed, and he went on to become a supervillain in his reality. Angstrom Levy exploits that loss, promising him a reunion with his mother in exchange for helping to torment and disgrace the prime Invincible by ravaging his Earth. Sent through Angstrom's portal with the other variants, Maskvincible joins the three-day rampage, and by the final day he hovers over the wreckage of Sydney, presumably his own doing.

At the war's end the surviving variants gather above the old Grayson House. When Omnivincible voices his hatred of returning there, Maskvincible pushes back, noting that not all of them murdered their Debbie and admitting his fondness for the place. Angstrom arrives and demands they deliver the prime Invincible to him, but most refuse and insist he honor their bargains. Maskvincible points out that his deal differed from theirs, a wish to retrieve the mainstream Debbie rather than conquer worlds. Movincihawk mocks him for pining after his mother, and Maskvincible fires back that they are all the same person, prompting Nomaskible to confess he misses his own universe's William before Capevincible waves the sentiment aside. The variants turn on Angstrom anyway, but he opens his portals and summons drones that shove them all into the barren Wasteland Universe. As a Viltrumite hybrid, Maskvincible carries the full spread of his species' powers, from flight and immense strength to near-invulnerability and swift healing.
