The Hunk

Built like a competitive bodybuilder, the Hunk carries a huge, sculpted physique. Straight blond hair tops his head, and he goes shirtless, wearing nothing but a pair of shorts.

Not much of his character came through, though he read as cocky and full of himself over his physique. He also showed genuine nerve, throwing himself at the evil Invincibles and standing firm against Nomaskible even while knowing the fight was hopeless.

The Hunk turned up among the crowd of hopefuls auditioning for the Guardians of the Globe and was matched against Atom Eve. Flexing to impress her fell flat, partly because she was still stewing over Rex Splode's betrayal, and she put him down fast and hard, a showing that caught the eyes of Invincible and Rex. He was not chosen for the team.

Two years on, Doc Seismic abducted him along with the Guardians and other heroes, until Darkwing II and the ReAnimen arrived to turn the tide; during the rescue he watched a furious Invincible strike Darkwing II. Later, in the Invincible War, he squared off against Nomaskible in a desert, lasting only seconds before the variant overwhelmed him. His shredded body was found in a crater by the close of the second day. His one notable gift was tremendous strength, enough to briefly trade blows with Nomaskible before losing.
