Capes Inc.

Capes Incorporated runs as a commercial superhero outfit, a firm that leases heroes for hire while coordinating with the Global Defense Agency. It operates apart from the Guardians of the Globe and counts Bolt, Knockout, and Kid Thor among its ranks. Little is recorded about its early days beyond a past meeting with Invincible.

The team's major showing came during the Invincible War, when countless heroes battled the duplicate Invincibles. As Movincihawk struck the Payton Penitentiary, the trio moved fast, at first mistaking the true Invincible for one of the copies and attacking him. Once the confusion cleared, they joined him to bring down Movincihawk, then let him fly off with Atom Eve to trace the source of the crisis.

In the fallout the three helped pull survivors from the wreckage left by the variants. They looked on as Powerplex assailed Invincible, and after Kid Omni-Man and Invincible subdued the villain, they were among the heroes who gave Invincible an uneasy glance when he was blamed. During the Advent of Conquest, Cecil and Donald teleported them in to aid Mark, but they reached the battlefield only after Conquest had fallen. They later stood at Rex Splode's funeral.

The confirmed lineup holds three heroes: Bolt, Knockout, and Kid Thor. The source comic featured a wider roster, and Kid Thor and Knockout had earlier appeared as members of a future Guardians of the Globe. The firm ranks as the second hero-for-hire security company in the series, after Invincible Inc.
