Summary

With ten minutes left before filming, the class scrambles into ninja costumes after the director, impressed by their athleticism during the statue recovery, casts them as assassins pursuing Rin, played by Kayano, and the hero, played by Jerome. Karma stands in as Jerome's stuntman owing to the actor's injuries, and Nagisa can tell he is thrilled to appear in one of the director's films despite his composed exterior. When the director marvels at the class's physical prowess after the chase scene, Kurahashi credits their former P.E. teacher. Attention then turns back to reshooting the kiss between Rin and the hero.

Nagisa tries to slip away, only for Karma to catch him and press him on why he means to skip it. Nagisa admits he feels uneasy watching the scene and worries about Kayano's future if Jerome's conduct spoils it, calling him a lewd beast, but Karma drags him along, insisting real support means watching. As Jerome, confident that every co-star falls for him after a kiss, leans in, Kayano slaps him instead. He protests the off-script move, yet the director praises it as a stronger choice than a girl simply swooning, then shows Jerome footage proving his knack for reacting to ad-libs. Seeing Kayano as a killer poised to strike whenever his acting slips, Jerome resolves to stop pestering her. Afterward, Hazama and Fuwa reveal they nudged the director toward keeping Rin truer to the original novel. Nakamura teases Kayano about the kiss, which she brushes off, and Karma outs Nagisa's jealousy, prompting the class to pile on until he clasps his hands in apology. That gesture reminds Kayano of how Nagisa once apologized the same way after the kiss that saved her, a kiss she decides nothing else could match, before she rejoins her laughing classmates under the rising crescent moon.
