Führer President Bradley and his soldiers sweep through the Devil's Nest sparing no one, pushing the last survivors, including the chimera Loa and Dorchet, down into the lower levels for a final stand. Below ground, Edward keeps trading blows with Greed and absorbs most of the punishment, since the homunculus shrugs off nearly any wound, yet he refuses to quit. When Major Armstrong confronts the chimera, Loa abandons his useless hammer and fights with his beastly gifts alone. Word spreads that Bradley himself is leading the assault, catching the lower-level defenders off guard.
