Seijin High School

Seijin High School prepares its students for hero careers, teaching and training them toward that work. Its kanji join the characters for sincerity and blade, following the same wordplay pattern that gives U.A. its name.

The school is anime-original, introduced in Episode 54. Isami Academy High School came first among such hero schools; Seijin is the second. Its costumes read as ninja dress rendered in bright colors.

Ten Seijin students found Shoto Todoroki on his own in the industrial section of Takoba National Stadium once the Provisional Hero License Exam opened its first round. Their approach leaned on superior numbers and on Quirks picked to counter his Half-Cold Half-Hot.

It did not work. Shoto outsmarted the group, drew all of them into a trap, and beat every one, which secured his place in the exam's second phase. Background shots suggest the class actually numbered at least eleven, despite what one student said, and other Seijin students appear in uniforms coloured purple, pink, grey, orange, and cyan.

None of the students are named, though their abilities are laid out. The student in red carries an unnamed object gigantification Quirk, enlarging whatever he touches. Bolts and nails become heavy projectiles that way, and he appears able to accelerate them as well, which lets him tailor ammunition to a situation, such as tungsten against fire users. Whether the Quirk works on living things is unknown.

The student in blue fires mud from her hands, a landslide-type Quirk that is highly effective against fire, and the student in black does the same with water to similar effect. The students in yellow share a bulk Quirk that expands their muscles so they can lift heavy objects.
