X-66

A black triangle with no tail and no second seat, the U.S. Air Force's X-66 answers a Quirk problem with a laser and a sensor suite. It reads an enemy's biology mid-dogfight and works out what they can do before the shooting is over.

Function

The aircraft seats one pilot and is built for combat. Black across the whole airframe, it uses a flying wing layout in a triangular planform: the fuselage runs short, the surfaces curve, and broad flat expanses cover the plane above and below. The silhouette owes a clear debt to the Northrop B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.

Its principal armament is a laser cannon slung beneath the fuselage. Against EPM attacks it can raise Anti-pulse fields as protection. Sensors complete the package: the jet gathers information on every biological response an enemy produces and analyzes their Quirk from it while the fight is still in the air.
