Metal Pawn is a human-sized humanoid robot remotely piloted by Bofoi as part of his Metal Series squad. Its frame later inspired the design of The Robot Invaders. It debuts in the webcomic's Robot Invasion Arc.
This unit is one of Bofoi's webcomic-only machines, controlled remotely and belonging to the specialized Metal Series. Its proportions roughly match those of a person, giving it a compact humanoid shape.
It carries no obvious weapons or add-on gear on the outside, and like the rest of Bofoi's robots it wears the trademark three-lens head. This model's build would go on to form the template for The Robot Invaders.
Despite its plain exterior, the unit hides a tranquilizing weapon, firing anesthetic darts from its finger to sedate, capture, or subdue targets. It can also hover in the air. Bofoi is able to speak through the robot and connect his other machines to it, gathering combined data to raise the group's fighting efficiency.
Bofoi is the creator and operator. One Metal Pawn shot a calming dart at Child Emperor during his visit to Bofoi's base. When the argument over Bofoi's role in the invasion escalated and Child Emperor summoned the Super Brave Giant, a squad including Metal Pawn was deployed against it, only for Genos to charge through and destroy the giant. As Genos reached the base, a group of Metal Pawns tried to block his path and shield their creator, but the S-Class cyborg wiped them out with ease.
