Belonging to the Dream chapter of the saga, this attack lets Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon wipe out their enemies using light and mirror imagery. It runs across the manga, the animated series, the Crystal films, several Sera Myu productions, and a handful of video games. When it strikes, targets are framed against a flashing, mirror-like backdrop.
Its upgrade path leads toward Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss once Usagi reaches her Eternal form, while the stage shows offer their own enhanced take called Moon Gorgeous Double Meditation.
Mechanics
The technique routes its power through the Moon Kaleido Scope, unleashing a strong rainbow-colored burst laced with fragments of shattered, glass-shaped energy. In the manga and Crystal, the pair gain their sceptres in the first Dream act with help from Helios, then turn them against the Dead Moon Circus, firing both as a duo and on their own; the final instance sees Queen Nehelenia bounce the blast back onto Super Sailor Moon and her companions.
The animated version imposes a condition: Super Sailor Moon can only loose the attack once Super Sailor Chibi Moon uses Twinkle Yell to call Pegasus, whose golden horn charges her to fire. She aims it chiefly at the Lemures of the Dead Moon Circus during the SuperS season, where the Amazon Trio's servants dissolve while the Amazoness Quartet's shatter apart. In the SuperS film, the two guardians combine on it to bring down Queen Badiane. The stage shows allow either the Moon Kaleido Scope or the Eternal Tiare to power it, and in the games Super Sailor Moon fires an energy sphere from her Kaleido Moon Scope.
