The seventh Infinity chapter of Naoko Takeuchi's Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. The Holy Grail and the pooled strength of the guardians lift Sailor Moon into her first Super form, as the dark truth about Hotaru and Sailor Saturn comes out.
Drawing on the Holy Grail and the united power of her comrades, Sailor Moon rises for the first time into Super Sailor Moon. The transformation coincides with grim revelations about Sailor Saturn and the fate awaiting Hotaru Tomoe.
Snapped out of their trance, the guardians watch the Holy Grail materialize before Sailor Moon as both the Outer and Inner teams channel their power into it. She drinks from the grail, reshaping every brooch and elevating her into Super Sailor Moon, a surge felt by the Death Busters, by Hotaru, and by the presence stirring inside her. With her new strength she destroys Cyprine and Ptilol using Rainbow Moon Heartache.
Unnerved by how their talismans resonated, the Outer Guardians decide to share the whole truth. They recall the last time the talismans rang out, during the Silver Millennium, after the moon fell and Serenity took her own life in grief. That resonance had roused the tenth and final guardian, Sailor Saturn, who swept her Silence Glaive across the system and ended all life, sealing the ruin of that age. Saturn, they warn, stirs only when the end approaches, and their investigation has convinced them her reborn soul now lives inside fifteen-year-old Hotaru. To keep Saturn from waking, they resolve to kill the girl.
Chibi Moon races to Hotaru's home to stop them, and the unconscious Hotaru wakes as she nears. The girl's eyes turn monstrous, she seizes Chibiusa's Silver Crystal, and her body begins to transform, her hair lengthening, her frame stretching, the mark of the Death Busters surfacing on her brow. Chibiusa is soon found collapsed and no longer breathing.
The chapter debuts Mistress 9 and the Super Sailor Moon form, along with the Crisis, Make Up phrase and the Rainbow Moon Heartache attack. It also reveals for the first time what became of the Silver Millennium after Queen Serenity spent the Silver Crystal's power to save her people.
In Act 33, Sailor Moon drinks from the newly formed Holy Grail and rises into Super Sailor Moon for the first time using the phrase Crisis, Make Up.
In Act 33, the Outer Guardians reveal that Sailor Saturn is the tenth guardian who stirs only when the world nears its end, and that her Silence Glaive once ended all life during the fall of the Silver Millennium.
Newly transformed into Super Sailor Moon in Act 33, Sailor Moon destroys Cyprine and Ptilol using her new attack, Rainbow Moon Heartache.
Convinced that Sailor Saturn's reborn soul lives inside fifteen year old Hotaru Tomoe, the Outer Guardians resolve in Act 33 to kill her before she can awaken and bring about destruction.
As Chibi Moon rushes to stop the Outer Guardians in Act 33, the unconscious Hotaru wakes with monstrous eyes, seizes Chibiusa's Silver Crystal, and begins transforming as the Death Busters' mark surfaces on her brow, leaving Chibiusa collapsed and not breathing.
