Brave Sword

Brave Sword は planet Konats に由来する ancient で enchanted weapon である。Konatsians と colossal monster Hirudegarn との devastating war の間、Tapion と彼の younger brother Minotia は Hero's Flutes を使用して beast を immobilize した。Hirudegarn が彼らの music によって held at bay されている間、Konatsian Wizard は Brave Sword を brandish し、monster を二つに slice し、各半分を two brothers の bodies 内に seal した。

The sword の enchantment は Hirudegarn に対して uniquely effective にし、most conventional attacks が touch できない creature に real damage を inflict する能力を持つ。Tapion は music box 内の long imprisonment を通して blade を carried し、Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon の events 中に Earth で freed された後も wield し続けた。

Trunks への Gift

Hirudegarn の final defeat の後、Tapion は Brave Sword を young Trunks に entrust し、blade は always 彼のために meant であったと telling した。This gesture は Trunks の future counterpart である Future Trunks が his own sword と famously associated である fact を references している。Trunks は Brave Sword を Tapion との bond の cherished memento として kept し、後に Goten と共に Kikoukenjutsu Sword School を co-founded した。

Brave Sword と Future Trunks の weapon との exact relationship は debated されている。Some sources は they が different timelines からの same blade であると state し、一方 Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot は them を merely sharing a similar design として describes している。Regardless、both swords は multiple timelines を通じて Trunks legacy における important place を occupy している。
