Overview

Dragon's Dream belongs to Kenzou during Stone Ocean and is unusual for having a mind of its own, distinct from its master. Its form is a metallic Eastern-style dragon hovering at the center of a floating ring, with two small clawed arms and a spade-tipped tail that juts forward to double as a compass needle. The ring bears eight rounded points, each flanked by three smaller ones, and when it uses its rebound trick the whole Stand sheathes itself in a clear bubble. It reads green in the colored manga.

As a judge more than a fighter, the Stand values fairness above victory. It openly lays out how its powers work even when Kenzou wants them kept secret, finding it unjust for him to hide the mechanics for an edge, and it tosses out odd bits of divined advice like a picture of a goldfish.

Mechanics

The Stand cannot strike and stays neutral in battle, so the killing is left entirely to Kenzou, whose mastery of its Feng Shui power still hands him an enormous advantage. Feng Shui, read as wind and water, is a Chinese art of divination that traces natural currents of energy to mark favorable and unfavorable places. In Kenzou's hands it becomes Feng Shui Assassination, a fighting method that pinpoints where to hit a body and how to stand so that a strike is deadly and no counter can land, no matter how ready the target is.

The Stand's actual gift is luck reading. Its body and ring act together as a compass on which Kenzou reads exact coordinates, in cardinal bearings, degrees, and minutes, for lucky spots where he cannot be harmed and unlucky spots where his own blows turn fatal. He summons the compass to find safe footing, then shuffles about in strange steps to stay within those protected points. When an unlucky spot is marked, the dragon materializes as an arrow inside a hovering sphere aimed at it; if Kenzou lands a hit inside that sphere, the blow is rerouted toward a mortal target, either dealing the fatal wound directly or letting unlikely coincidences arrange one. Forcing an enemy to touch the sphere counts as a successful attack too, producing an accidental injury. The readings themselves are flawless, so the only way to beat such a user is to aim for a stalemate in bad luck and hope the assassin falls first, or to trick Kenzou into misreading his own coordinates and letting his overconfidence expose him.

Notable Users

Kenzou is the wielder, an elderly Feng Shui assassin who leans on the Stand to finish most foes in a single strike. Because the Stand insists on fairness, it will even coach his target on how best to defend, offsetting his edge; only the toughness of Foo Fighters together with Anasui's timely help managed to bring him down.
