Highway to Hell

Highway to Hell is the Stand of Thunder McQueen, featured in Stone Ocean. It shows itself as four small growths tipped with tiny propellers that push out of whatever object McQueen uses in his attempt to end his own life. The identical four growths surface at the matching spot on the linked victim to mark the wound they now share. Colored pages present it in purple.

On its own the Stand is completely useless in a fight. Its threat comes entirely from pairing its damage-mirroring trick with McQueen's compulsive drive toward self-destruction, which makes an otherwise inert power genuinely deadly.

The Stand works by copying whatever wound McQueen deals to himself onto a target he has marked. Anything he does to his own body strikes the victim in the same way, with Highway to Hell appearing on them as the visible source of that injury. If he tries to hang himself, the Stand wraps the victim's throat with the crushing traces of a noose. If he tries to drown, it forms a liquid mass sealing their mouth and nose. Its stat sheet even hints that starving himself could kill a target the same way, and the linked person is forced into the very pose McQueen adopts.

Distance offers no safety, since the link holds even when the victim flees far from McQueen. The only reliable rescue is to keep him from harming himself and to strip away the Stand DISC that carries the ability.

Thunder McQueen alone carries this Stand, weaponizing his own suicidal behavior against those he binds to it.
