I Am a Rock

I Am a Rock belongs to Yotsuyu Yagiyama and features in JoJolion. Standing about as tall as its user, the humanoid Stand narrows its shoulders and upper arms down to thin pipes. Long shoulder pads bolted to its torso carry short, regularly spaced spikes, which also run across its chest, head, the clear dome over its head, and the backs of its hands.

Its head stays smooth and blank aside from those spikes, with eyes only faintly suggested by surrounding muscle and a small, thin mouth. A very narrow waist gives way to legs shaped like baggy hammer pants, and a zipper sits at the crotch. In colored art it appears chiefly in crimson, purple, and blue.

This is a short-reach Stand tied close to Yotsuyu. It can outmuscle an ordinary human such as Karera Sakunami, yet Soft & Wet overpowers it in a straight fistfight, so Yotsuyu leans on its ability rather than brawling. When he touches a person, that victim starts drawing one specific kind of object toward themselves, be it flower pots, chestnuts, or cans of pesticide.

Once triggered, the chosen objects creep inward and gather speed and strength as they close, finally pressing into the flesh toward the body's center. The pull cannot be resisted by force, and smashing the objects only creates more fragments that dig in. Yotsuyu may target several people at once with the same object type, or even apply it to himself and then switch it off, and he decides which object each victim attracts. Its power comes at the cost of a short 5 to 10 meter range, so leaving that zone breaks the effect. Exploiting his Rock Human physiology, he often disguises himself as stone, touches a passerby unnoticed, and waits for the converging items to finish the job.

Yotsuyu Yagiyama is the only wielder. He first reveals the ability while ambushing Yasuho Hirose in Tsurugi's hidden room, then mounts a sustained assault on Josuke Higashikata, drawing flower pots, chestnuts, and bottles of pesticide toward him in turn.
