Lovers is the microscopic Stand of Steely Dan, seen during Stardust Crusaders. Its user openly calls it the feeblest Stand alive, unable to budge a single hair, yet its habit of burrowing into a victim's brain and flinging pain back at them makes it one of the most dreaded threats the heroes face.
Tied to the tarot card of the same name, Lovers serves Steely Dan in Part 3 as a long-distance Stand. Its power reaches across hundreds of kilometers, which means once it has latched on, fleeing offers no real safety.
Though it answers to Steely Dan without argument, the Stand shows a distinct character of its own. It jeers at foes, carries itself with sly arrogance, and boasts that it could topple both Silver Chariot and Hierophant Green. Backed into a corner, however, it abandons the fight and runs.
Being smaller than the eye can track lets Lovers slip inside a human body without notice. Its central trick is to reach the brain stem and tamper with the host's pain receptors. Whenever Steely Dan feels the smallest sensation, even the crack of his own knuckles, the Stand thrashes wildly within the victim and multiplies that feeling into overwhelming torment. It can conjure phantom aches in limbs that no longer exist. Joseph Joestar is held captive this way.
Once lodged in the brain, it can grind cells into paste to cloak itself as a different Stand or spawn crowds of decoys, false copies that still bruise any Stand shrunk down to match its scale. It also ferries one of DIO's flesh-buds inside a skull, feeding it on brain tissue until the growth ruins the host entirely, the fate it inflicted on Enya.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Lovers is the Stand of Steely Dan, an arrogant servant of DIO who appears in Stardust Crusaders. He uses it to enslave Joseph Joestar and torment the Crusaders.
Lovers is a microscopic long-distance Stand that can slip inside a person's body unnoticed and reach the brain stem. Once lodged there, it manipulates the victim's pain receptors, turning any small sensation Steely Dan feels into overwhelming torment for its host.
Steely Dan openly calls Lovers the feeblest Stand alive because it cannot budge a single hair on its own. Its danger comes instead from its ability to burrow into a victim's brain, control their pain, and reach targets from hundreds of kilometers away, making escape nearly impossible.
Lovers embeds itself in Joseph Joestar's brain stem and hijacks his pain receptors, so any sensation Steely Dan feels, even the crack of his own knuckles, is multiplied into agony for Joseph. It can also conjure phantom pain in limbs that no longer exist.
Yes. Once inside a victim's brain, Lovers can grind cells into paste to disguise itself as a different Stand, or create decoy copies of itself that can still injure any Stand shrunk down to its scale.
